Kate is currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Vermont College of Medicine who is intending to matching into Emergency Medicine. Originally from Vermont, Kate received her undergraduate degree in Language Studies (Spanish) from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to medical school, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at UVM Medical Center and volunteered as an EMT with an ambulance service in rural Vermont. Her medical interests include emergency medicine, international health, critical care, and pediatrics. In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time outside, doing yoga, and traveling.
